Laura Carmignani is a skilled Lab Technician at IFOM with extensive experience in cell culture and biobanking. Since 2014, she has specialized in working with human and animal cell lines, as well as the generation and differentiation of induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) and the development of organoid models.
Laura is proficient in a variety of advanced molecular and cellular biology techniques, including viral vector production, mycoplasma testing, and the production of chemical competent cells. She also provides essential hands-on training for new users in BSL1 and BSL2 laboratories, ensuring that safety and sterility standards are consistently met.
Her expertise and dedication to high standards in laboratory work make her a valuable contributor to the team at IFOM.
