Cinzia Cancellieri is a dedicated Lab Technician at IFOM, specializing in cellular and molecular biology.
Since 2018, she has focused on human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPSC) and organoid models, contributing her expertise in generating hiPSCs from primary cells and differentiating them into cardiomyocytes and various neuronal subtypes, including cortical, Purkinje, and dopaminergic neurons.
Her proficiency extends to characterizing, banking, and differentiating hiPSCs, with a solid foundation in cell culture techniques within BSL1/BSL2 environments. Cinzia is experienced in transfections, viral vector production, flow cytometry, and advanced fluorescence microscopy.
